Ecofascism

Ecofascists core beliefs center around the idea that environmental degradation is reaching a pinnacle caused by overpopulation and policies that are pro-immigration and/or promote multiculturalism. Adherents weave white supremacy, anti-multiculturalism, antisemitism and xenophobia into these beliefs. They also believe that mounting environmental issues can only be mitigated by a fascist regime that imposes strict population control and environmental decrees. Mass shooters have used tenets of ecofascism as rationale for their attacks and have included mentions of ecofascism in their manifestos.

Some of the young American attendees also have ties to right-wing extremists.
