The Community (Com, Comm)

The “Community” (also known as “Com” or Comm”) is a loosely organized online network of individuals and groups involved in a wide range of illicit activities. These include hacking, ransomware, cyberstalking, swatting, SIM swapping, bricking, sextortion, the distribution of child sex abuse material (CSAM), scams, drug trafficking, school shootings and acts of terrorism.

764 is the most well-known and influential group within the broader Com network and has spawned numerous offshoots. In recent years, some elements of the Com have increasingly embraced accelerationist and other extremist ideologies.
